Work has been alright, been really busy lately.
I really want to go out thought but i'm always so tired and at the end of a tired day,
all i want to do is just sit home and watch tv or series or just go online.
At the same time, i wanna go out too cause the walls in the house is driving me insane.
Richard only comes over once in a while to keep me company after work when he has a ride.
unfortunately, not all the time. so 75% of my time i have to find a way to entertain myself in the house.

This detox programme is driving me crazy too! I can eat lunch and breakfast but as for dinner, it's my doom.
So now here i am with growling stomach where my mum and i were suppose to go for our detox thingo,
but that woman bailed out on me for the buka puasa buffet in hyatt. I swear my family is all about the food.
There's nothing in the fridge that is be able to be eaten without frying it. AHHHHH, that corned beef looks soooo
tempting. AND THAT CHOCOLATE CAKE TOO. Maybe 30 minute on the treadmill will take my mind off food.
But wouldn't that just make me hungrier after?

Hello:)!

KK has been great as expected.

but i'm tired all the time!

I go to bed at 3 or 4 in the morning and wake up at 8:30 to get ready for work.

Finally i get to see richard! so nice to have someone always with arms wide open ready for a hug:).

Tina's been back too but we haven't got the chance to hang out cause she has to go home to skype with her boyfriend.

hopefully soon?

as for my other friends the couples are too busy with their lovers to hang out and the singles are to busy finding lovers.

heh.

ah well, lots of family to hang out with,

been clubbing with my cousin and sisters.

hahahahaha! and i swear one of my older sister has the most stiff and awkward dance.

it's entertaining to watch though.

& the food?

the food..has been EPIC!

Damn i wish indo had as much pork as KK man.

I do miss a few dishes from indo though.

having my off day today, but it's already sunday!

I'm quite surprised that shenanigans is so dead now, and filled with OLD MEN.

who happen to be very ambitious when it comes to picking up chicks.

they could practically be my grandfather.

I reckon shenanigans should switch to DJ then live band.

And when the DJ start spinning he won't shut up and kept interrupting the music.

As for white room, it's packed like usual.

bed is still filled with sarong party girls trying to pick up old white tourist men.

Last week in Jakarta

Hello!

so this week is pretty much my last in Jakarta until class starts again at September
hence, the title.
But anyway, I have been pretty much laying low at home.
Things are pretty much boring at the moment.
Been watching DVD's since day one of my summer holiday.
although i did manage to get loads of exercise! well it is the only time i get the chance to get out of this house since the car is being used every single day which leaves me having no transportation to anywhere at all
unless i could take a cab to the mall some where near the city but for one trip to the mall it cost about RM42 and another RM42 to get home.
Sorry, but I'm too chinese for that, seriously.
I'd rather spend the money on buying groceries then cooking myself something special as a treat.

Ugh, every one of my friends lives so far away.
well technically I'm the one whose in the other side of Jakarta, heh.
I have quite a number of stuff to do before i get back to KK.
mostly it's Pam's errands, I wonder why can't she at least divide the work between Natalie & I?
and then Nina decided to forget her her bag of accessories, I'm definitely telling Natalie to carry that in her bag cause i got enough stuff to bring for Pam as it is!
such as crisps (who bring crisps:s?!) which is a few big packs of it, fake eye lashes, bottles of pam's soap (can't she buy it there?!), a belt?! which is about 1.5 cm wide (she couldn't even fit that in there?)
& she had 60kg divided among her and Nina.
what's up with that?
not only that but i also have to buy 4 bottles of this spinach shampoo that my mom is oh so obsessed about.
I have my own stuff to bring back too..
Like my sewing machine, sewing tools, clothes that would last me for 2 months, most definitely shoes.
speaking of clothes i don't even know what to pack for.
I keep asking myself, would i be going out or not?
will there be any important events?
since I'm working for my mum what do i wear?
i wonder if i can actually just go to work wearing my boxers and shirt:p.
well the office is in the house.
I just hope she doesn't give me work that makes me sit in a spot for 7 hours.
that the main thing of why i got into fashion
not only it rekindles the creativity in you, but it also keeps you going up and about.
although there are times where i would sit in a spot from 11 in the morning till 5 in the morning but it's just so interesting till you lose track of time.

Speaking of work, due to my lack of motion that causes me to be bored all the time these couple of weeks, i have decided to work on a simple gray blouse/outerwear.
just experimenting to see how it goes.
i hope it does end up well though and my pattern won't end up looking absolutely retarded.
The fabric would be cotton jersey I'm expecting it to have the whole grungy outlook in the end.

Spent the whole day (& night) skyping with Richard since he won't be able to come on skype tonight cause he's working the night shift for tonight.
He didn't actually really wake up till 3 in the afternoon which by that time I was about to take a nap. Then by the time i got back from my usual jogs he had to go off to work, great.
I guess there's always tomorrow?
3 more days till i soak up the sun & breathe in the KK breeze:).

Summer holidays

Holidays are here.
Finally, after 8 months ++ it's here.
I envy the girls from my class that would be leaving for a week in Bali tomorrow!
As for me i'm stuck here.
oh and i didn't manage to finish my tailor jacket for the exam, however,
i did manage to do 90% of it.
so i did pretty good for my presentation yesterday.
All i know is i definitely won't be doing any resit for my pattern drafting and fashion design exam!
trust me, once is ENOUGH!
results would be released on the 13th, so I'm looking forward to that but at the same time i"m kinda dreading it.
I was suppose to go to dufan (dunia fatasi) today.
it's a theme park in jakarta.
unfortunately i can't go cause my brain that has the memory of an 80 year old woman and i forgot my purse in my friend's car.
My cousin couldn't lend me any money cause she hasn't gone to the bank this morning and everyone was suppose to meet in uni.
and then whats even worse is that i got a very immature and rude text from a certain someone who has an attitude problem which I'm really really getting tired of dealing with.
stayed home all day with nothing to do but just go on the computer and sleep.
god i wanted to go to dufan so badly:(!
well, at least i got to go for run and sweat out my problems which made me feel less sluggish and happier afterward:).
on the bright side, another 2nd year class would be going on Thursday, which without a doubt i would be joining!
as for now, i guess tomorrow's schedule of the day would be the same as today.
man i really need to get the extension pack for sims 3 on mac cause i reckon my cousn is getting sick of me being in her room:p.
come onnnnn, what else can i dooooo.
and don't tell me to sew cause i've been doing that non stop along with being sleep deprived.
I'm not ready to start yet.
I also need to get more PS2 games.

Black market

Hello!

today was a good day.
I went to the black market with a good friend in jakarta!
they basically sell stuff that are manufactured in indonesia.
the materials are the leftovers are then use to manufacture extras that would be sold in the market.
Got some pretty good deals there.

got a pair of doc martens, oakley see through framed wayfarers, a shirt by sound 97 and gap which are soooo soft and soooooo cheap!
oh my god i'm definitely going back there again:)!
I recommend anyone whose coming to jakarta to go there.
it's called taman puring.
despite how sweaty, hot and crowded it is, it's worth it.
i saw this really cute celine bag that's black with fringes!
but it's about rp1, 200, 000. 00 (RM 424)
it's cheap but like i already spent my money on docs:/.
ah well, i'm still happy with my decision though:).
had a really nice time with hunna, whose part Arab and part indo.
she's really pretty:)!
had an early dinner in a pasta place in kemang.
i really like that street lot's of restaurant and cafes there which has such interesting interiors:).

i also went out a couple of friends yesterday to get some dinner in domino's and in the midst of walking i found this really cool printed scarf/shawl which cost about 44000rp (RM15.50).
i like how everything is cheap here if you know where to look:).
but it's funny how gap is actually considered a high class brand here?
they bloody raised the price by a lot here that's why.
so is mango, you can't find any piece of clothing that's under 200,000.00 rp (RM70), even for just a simple tank top that says "MANGO" on it.
crazyyyy.
man, i reckon shopping is like ecstasy, gives you a rush of joy when you purchase something and then few hours later brings you down like a mofo as soon as you realize how much you've spent.
fortunately, I'm only the type that spends a lot twice a year, but then again i don't go overboard as well! just in time to stop myself.
i basically had to drag my own ass out of there to avoid spending more.
would've like to see more though but i guess the temptation would be too high not to buy something.

last day of exam tomorrow, and i already got all my fabrics sewn to create a tailor jacket!
just gotta sew the lining together then connect it with the jacket, sew on the pair of padding onto the shoulders and sew the pockets.
trust me doesn't sound much but it is, & i have till 4 to do this.
I'm hoping i get to finish it though.
I MUST!
or else i'm gonna have to do lots of explaining to the jury this coming Monday for my presentation:|.
however,i do have my outfit planned for that day!
& i'm excited for that:).

hahaha, the last experience of being a pesco pretty much scarred me.
Maybe it's the strong taste of herbs.

Obstacles

Hello world,

yes i have been very disconnected with my blog. But today, today, i just felt like blogging:).
+ my brother always go " kimmy why don't you ever update your blog anymore?"
so here I am.
exams started 11 days ago and i have just completed my Fashion design exam finally.
what we had to do was:

30 designs for spring-summer (RTW) 2012 (with complete product variation)
60 technical drawing (Front+back)
Brand image (price tag, packaging, target market, brand content, business card)
4 creative fabrics
4 strong point samples of your designs
Cover
6 Total looks (Coloured)
fabric proposition
colour range along with personal colour names
Preface for our collection
Mood board
Personal universe board
Collection Plan stating fabrics and colour for each product(categorized)

I was one of the lucky ones because i actually got a theme that suited my overall style. which is apocalypse.
and my personal theme?
Drug addicts.
apocalypse is the main theme but we are suppose to develop our own theme that has to somehow link to the main theme that was given so I decided to experiment with drug addict lifestyle and emotions.
Perhaps it's an unusual theme to pick, but overall i thought it was interesting theme to work with.
For the mini collection that i designed for my exam, most of my designs has silhouettes that are straight.
however, as for my dresses, i wanted to do the opposite which is fitted.
I have overall more tops then everything else.
cause we were told to think logically when distributing out designs equally to each products.
I had Tops, skirts, trousers, shorts, outer wear (which i love), dresses & shorts.
I made more tops cause personally i have more tops then everything else in my closet, then comes the trousers, outer wear, dresses and skirt.
The rules of the exam is that we're suppose to bring everything on the first day( Fabrics, sewing machine, stationary, papers etc') and nothing more after that.
however,
sneaky as I am, i did anyways.
and so did 90% of the students.
HAHA
my whole wardrobe for this week has been paired with jackets and loose jumpers.
so you can imagine
. i actually felt like i was smuggling drugs into the classroom or shop lifting.
heh.
Well what do you expect,
we had a lot of shit to do in just 4 days.
use to be 5 days...........
so basically I spent late nights trying to finish what i brought home with me.

on wednesday night i spent my time doing technical drawings for the back of my products that kept me up till 2:30a.m and last night i was up till 4:30 a.m just working on my total looks and had to get up at 6:30 to get ready to go for my exams.
As expected, i felt like absolute crap.
Life of fashion design student = endless nights of late nights (even if you started an assignment early)

I decided to name my brand Kristine Kim because first of all i couldn't be bothered thinking of a brand name, second, reminds me of the brand that my dad started.
I have my pattern drafting test on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
4 more days of exams and exams are over however, i expect that i have to stay back for remedial due the fact that I'm probably going to fail my CAD PD (computer aided design for pattern drafting) and my marketing cause we had to do costings for 50 products & write 3 essays in just 3 hours
. and i had no time to finish up my costing.
no one ever did, seriously.
asshole marketing lecturer.
which intervenes with the schedule that my family will be in Singapore i really want to go:(
so while they're in Singapore I'll be in Jakarta waiting for my shitty ass remedial paper to come.
one of the reasons why i want to go there is because i heard Singapore has a doc marten's shop and i really REALLY want a pair with absolute passion, my sister and my niece is going to be there, i haven't been back in Singapore since 2008.

I also can't wait to get back to KK.
Where I'll see Richard and my family and get all the KK food i want.
my gut is practically screaming for some pork crackling noodle soup and hilltop dim sum.
I have also been broke, cause only one of my sister sent me money this month cause it went all towards transport, fabrics, and things to prepare for my exams.
I don't want to borrow from my cousin for any so yeah, cause she's probably going to nag at me.
so i borrowed from one of my good friend instead to buy stuff for my PD exam. minus the nagging.

i just hope they send me the money soon or else I'm probably going to have to starve myself for the 4 days left.
I'm not looking forward to my PD exam cause i forgot how to create the construction for a tailor collar which i couldn't take my notes cause it was in my file that is locked in my lecturer's cupboard.

what am i going to do now?

Okay so today I woke up thinking today is going to be a good day.
BUT THEN!
I got to chitos with two of my nieces and my day was totally ruined by the wrong order.
This waiter claimed that i ordered "this so called food" when i clearly knew what i ordered.
I was so pissed off, not only cause they gave me the wrong order but the guy just stood there
thinking he's "right".
I said well is it possible if you change it? But he was like oh then it'll come out of my pay.
Well Mr. stupid, i don't fucking care if it does cause it was your bloody fault
for not getting your ass off the chair at the first place cause you were too busy talking to
your shitty co worker.
Seriously it's your problem don't blame it on other customers, learn to deal with your mistakes

HAU-LEE-DAY

I finally have time to actually update my blog after quite sometime now.
ah well, been a very busy bee.
Ever since uni started I have be SO BUSY!
made lots of friends, and learned quite a lot this semester.
it has also been a really stressful one.

a lot has been going on for me.
there are good ones and bad ones.
so far it has been good though, am back for christmas break.
unfortunately it's really short though :/
will be leaving on the 1st.
I could leave later but I have an assignment to hand in on the 3rd and there are no flight going back on the 2nd.
it's my second year in uni and it's getting more difficult.
There are time I didn't sleep for 2 days in a row because of lousy assignments
then again I do enjoy doing them.
I just wished we didn't have to rush all the time!
and why do they have t give it to us at the most inconvenient time?
like christmas..who get bloody assignments on christmas?!
I was suppose to bring a friend back with me to kk but she decided to she wanted to visit her mum and baby sister in Sydney instead.
wished she could have joined me though.
she's missing out on all the food man:p!
I'm still currently looking for a good tailor to help me with sewing my samples for my assignment.
And I'm currently working on my denim shorts, I'm pretty excited to see how it's going to turn out.
it's gonna have the unfinished look.
it's for an assignment, then when I'm done I can wear it :D!
Pretty excited for futsal tomorrow!
i didn't bring any shoes, but I'm sure I'll be able to find something to wear around the house.

I'm so excited!
I'll be leaving for KK today during the evening:D!
For one is that I'm so excited to eat the food, oh, glorious food.
I wanted to surprise rich but he's currently in Tawau & would only be back tomorrow.
ARGH! that's just ruining my plan.
Right now I have something in mind, but I'm still thinking about it.
Gahhh, I also have no idea what to pack! Cause I'll be in Kkay until September something:/.
I don't even know officially what my plans are going to be yet.
I reckon the first thing I want to do when I get to Kkay is to get a bloody haircut,
cause the last haircut I had was on Christmas day.
And perhaps I'll go for the food!
I'm also looking forward to the hand me downs from my sister.
Trust me, they may be hand me downs but they are really good quality.
and pretty too:), well most of the time.
that is if my sister hasn't taken all of it yet>:(!
Oh! and i also wanna get shoes, cause I'm not too fond of the ones in Jakarta.
sides, most of my money is already in Ringgit.

Anyway, I have been doing quite a few stuff for the past couple of days.
we actually just recently celebrated Nina's (Niece) birthday in an Itaian restaurant called pepenero.
Food was good, even though all I had was asparagus soup cause i had a late lunch.
but the mushroom ravioli I tried was damn tasty.

As for my day, I pretty much went to Uni in the morning to get my passport.
and just hung around Chitos with Natalie (niece) and did some shisha and food in shisha cafe with some people.
Anyway, I'm off to bed.. Cause number 1 I'm hungry, number 2 I'm tired & number 3, MY FLIGHT IS JUST IN A MATTER OF HOURS:D!

And i must say tom cruise is not that tall.
ahahaha, I reckon he was wearing heels in that movie, in fact I SWEAR BY IT!
ah well, the movie actually made me realize that tom cruise is actually pretty attractive.

ah well, it was still a good movie though.

So basically my life has been revolving around the PS2 in Jakarta,
which is pretty sad really.
Nakita and Martha is in Shang Hai doing fashion week which I actually had a chance to take part as a fitter for one of the Indonesian designer!
BUT i had no bloody money..Oooh no surprise there pft.
I really want to see Shang Hai though:/.

I don't want to stay in Jakarta any longer cause it's so depressing!
both my friends are gone.
so I'm stuck here.. alone.
I hope that agent has already started sorting out my visa cause I want to leave as soon as I can.

I'm just not use to it.
And friends here are pretty limited cause it's not like I'm anti social and all,
it's just that most of the local Indos behave differently.

And Martha Nakita & I heard that others has been talking shit about us getting extra attention because we're international students.

So things have been pretty chill lately now that I have completed my course.
I got to do things i wanted to do for quite sometime now.
TO BE A COMPLETE USELESS PERSON!
that stays up till 6 in the morning and wake up at 4 in the evening:p! OH! and I also get to skype with Richard more now:).

Recently I attended an event that was organized by my uni. The venue was was actually really good.
there was a fashion show that was showing each 3rd year student's collection. The theme for this year was Archipelago.

I must say the sewing looked really neat. And some of the designs were really pretty too:)! And the Models?
OH MA LORRRRRD.
there were really good looking international male & female models.
OH! I saw a jacket as well which was neon green and had teeth around the hood:D!
It's from one of the students collection called "Attack of the Mutated Nu Rave Reptile".
I feel that going to the fashion show did me some good because it made me see how it's going to be like for my 3rd year.
It inspired me.
I thought it's amazing how these student came into ESMOD and graduate with producing their own collection as well.
I'm pretty excited for when my turn comes:), well yet a little scared:s.

After the show, Nakita, Martha & I went to Grand Indonesia Mall to grab some dinner in this restaurant/Bar called Social House.
The food? Epic.
Specially the steak which Nakita Ordered where as I ordered the "Fettuccine & Lamb Ragout" which was also damn good, *drools*.

As for desert I wanted an apple crumble but they were out of it so settled for apple pie.
Which not only looked good but tasted good too:)

UGH, I'm also pretty worried about my VISA cause maybe it might keep me here in Jakarta for about 3 more weeks.
By the time I Get back to KK everyone will be gone or maybe have only a few days left. ahhhhh, this Visa crap is screwing up my holiday plans.
I'm gonna miss a whole lot of stuff.
GAHHHHHHHHH! Mannnnnn, why can't getting my VISA done only takes 2 days:(?!
And Richard is going to come back this Saturday which is making me more agitated.
I'm going to try my best to get this matter sorted.
Cause if there is no KK and my friends in it then I'm never going to get the holiday I've been craving for months now:/.

Job training, Birds?

I reckon job training went well:)

even though i felt completely useless during the first week
but all in all I enjoyed working there.

I actually miss working now that I'm back at ESMOD, everything is always in a rush.
When I was working at Jeffry's, everything was so chilled out.
Oh! and there was always a nice restaurant to go to!
I had to help Jeffry make some stuff actually, mostly stuff that involves synthetic leather.
The design he came up with for this event is called the BWA(British Woman Association) was really cool.
The concept of it was what a dominatrix would wear.

Most of the designs involved synthetic leather cut into fringes and thats where I come in:).
I had to make the front part of a :

Dress
Blouse
Pants

This took me 2 weeks, and at the end of it my fingers were totally chapped.
During those 2 weeks there was no way I could get by a day without pricking myself with a needle and bleeding after that.
Luckily, the last week I had there, I got to do computer duty.
Which mostly involved updating the designer's social website and making technical sheets, OH! and photo shopping too.

Before we left we gave Jeffry a Little present, It's not much.. but we gave some thought to it.
We gave him a packet of mechanical pencils and an eraser cause he's always borrowing mine, a small container of pretty colourful needles and a black mole skin note book as a thank you gift for him having us as his interns.

As for my weekend, I spent it on bird watching and visiting historical islands.
We visited an island where they used to keep the diseased and prisoners.
there was a graveyard on the island itself, and on of the people buried there died only at 10 years old because of the disease, it's sad really:/.
I had a nice time even though my nieces and I got chased by a swarm of insects:).
Because at the end of the trip I manged to get a bit of a tan while sleeping on the boat..
oh...and sunburn too, ouch!

It's been quite a while since I've blogged, been a very busy person and the lecturers just don't understand the term "enough".
Job training for me starts tomorrow, and I feel very fortunate to work with a well known Indonesian designer called Jeffrey Tan.
hahahah, which of course have same name as my older brother:P.
but anyway, Jeffrey has a taste in clothing that has this international feel, I would put down his site's URL except it's currently undergoing construction.

He used to study in ESMOD as well, and was classmates with my Fashion Design lecturer which was how I found out about him.
He appeared in Jakarta fashion week countless of times and his designs are mainly architectural with lots of folds.
I'm actually pretty scared of job training tomorrow, cause Jeffrey said he wants Nakita and I to translate his designs into pattern during the interview.
which of course caused me to start screaming in my head:|.
well, we are there as interns so I'm guessing, well hoping, that he'll teach us too.
So I'm just trying to chill out and not fuss about it.
Haha, well I guess job training did kind of started for Nakita & I yesterday cause we had to act as Jeffrey's assistant in a movie called "fashion satu hari". we have two scenes in the movie which was in a magazine office building and in Jeffrey's shop, I hope I look good in it:p.
but anyway, the cool part was that we got to meet people who worked in magazines like Marie claire Jakarta, Elle Jakarta, rising singers and other people who I can't remember:p.
but it was still nice:p
And if you wondering if I have any lines then no I don't:p, but it was still a good experience to be in a movie even though I was an extra.
and + my name would appear in the credits:p.

On to another point,
you know how we're suppose to be working in job training and all
well, instead of concentrating on just that, we need to do assignments too!
lots of them in fact!
I'd probably just sit myself down one of these days and do all my assignments.
well I've been saying that since yesterday morning but so far it hasn't happen yet.

As usual I'm here once again in chitos waiting for my ride to come get me.
Unfortunately this time, I have forgotten to bring my damn phone.
How lovely.
So I pretty much have to guess when is the car coming so I can go to the counter to make a car call.
damn.
but you know what, not really:P.
cause I have no classes this Friday.
Woooooooooooo.
and the great thing about not having classes on this Friday is because it was suppose to be the day of our textile exam.
so my classmates and I got a week extra to study.
which is good considering work has been piling up on us since we got back from our holidays.
Ugh, I literally feet like a zombie today.
This FD work is draining the energy out of me.
ah well, it'll all be okay again when this Friday comes.

I was in the women's toilet just now, and I don't get how a woman uses a toilet for such a LONG time.
no seriously, as in 7 to 10 minutes long, well unless their shitting.
but anyway, what on earth do you do in a toilet stall for that long?
you unbutton your pants or whatever, pee, put it back on and come out.
does that sound like it'll take 7 to 8 minutes to you?
cause it sure doesn't to me.
gah, I'm in such an irritated mood right now due to my lack of sleep.
and I won't be able to get enough sleep again tonight cause I'd have to do my stinking creative fabric and colouring.
I like what I study and all, but it's just annoying when it doesn't even give me anymore time to do what I want anymore.
I can't even go out to a mall, or watch a movie, or go for a little window shopping or something like that.
I haven't been to a mall to do just what I want in Jakarta in months.

wellllllllllll, I'm back in Jakarta.. Sadly.
You know, I'll admit..I'm actually really not a city type of person.
traffic today wasn't so bad, the usual.
I'm sitting here in my Pattern Drafting class while waiting for my life drawing class to start at 1p.m later.
so in the mean time, I thought I'd update my blog.
Anyway, I realized that leaving kkay for the 2nd time isn't as bad as the 1st.
well, it was but just not as bad.
I decided to stay awake in the plane just before we take off to Jakarta to savour the feeling of still being in kkay.
cause I won't be back perhaps in another 4 months time.
:/.
so I just watched as we zoomed off and and as soon as I was no longer was able to see kkay through my window.
I put on my eye mask on and drifted to sleep.
man, kkay looked so beautiful though my plane window.
all those little sparkly lights.
:/, I miss kkay already even though its only been 13 hours.
Rich sent me off to the airport, it was nice:). and this time he could stay longer:D.
I really enjoyed his company, it comforted me.
I miss Richard very much:(.

I had so much fun in kkay this holiday, even if I didn't do much. but it was definitely time well spent.
But damn, now I have to catch up on my assignments.

I should be at Kundasang right at this very moment enjoying the fresh air .
Was suppose to make a trip there with the guys but them being boys decided not to go in the end cause probably they were tired, so they didn't bother.
Ah well, was REALLY looking forward to it:/.
i was thinking, ah well maybe if we don't get to go to Pulau 3 then theres always Kundasang.

The main reason i wanted to go there so much is cause i wan to see Adryz's newly built house there and i heard it was really nice.

I found out yesterday that I got picked for National Service.
I mean like WHYYYYYYYY?
I thought it'd probably skip me or something considering I skipped a grade.
so much for that, pft.
It said I would be in the second or third batch.
Hell no, if thats around summer.. there is NO WAY I am spending my summer on some useless national service crap on my ONLY long holiday.
I'll work something out somehow.
Right now whats going through my mind right now is the young coconut sorbet in dream cones at Jessleton.
That sorbet is GOOD! they have bounty too:]!
as soon as this wretched cough is gone I'm going straight to that place to get me some sorbet.

It's alright and all, but it gets really boring after a while and it's too sweet I reckon.
Oh last night event was fun, it was my niece's 1 year birthday and she was wearing this white princess gown that looked so adorable on her.
hahaha, knowing my family, they also used the event to get alcohol involved.

My mom cooked her famous pork and eggs black stew.

whats up night owls:).

so it's 3:19 a.m and I'm currently waiting for one of my cousin to get back from one of their outings so I can open the door for her since she doesn't have a key.
Since I'm up this last I might as well update my blog with a new post:D.

So anyway, i went to the islands yesterday along with a big group of people.
It was fun:), I manage to get a tan, FINALLY!
after months and months of looking kind of pale.
It isn't much, just a slight tint.
but thats what I wanted.
Adryz brought a mini keg, it was cute:p.
too bad for the everyone that it was foamy when we arrived at the island.
ah well.
Rich was suppose to come too but he had to go to the immigration, he did however.
but, he ended up going to the wrong island.
poor Richard, I really wanted him there:\.
I didn't get to take photos when we were in the island, was too busy tanning:p.
hahahaha, we buried Ray as well.

overall, as we got back, i could tell that everyone were dead tired from the island trip.
the reason is cause on our way to the island there was loads of chattering, however, on our way back it was pretty quiet.

Guess whose back in KK:p.
I arrived last night in the terminal 2 air asia waiting with excitement
as I was going to surprise Richard at shamrock.
haha, i swear you can see the excitement dancing in my eyes.
I had jjay call him to ask where he was and later found out he was in shamrock which was perfect.
so I got home and got ready and all and head down over to waterfront with Carol and her boyfriend, Michael.
After greeting Rich's mom, I saw him sitting with a group of his brother's friends.
so I decide to just stand at 2 O'clock of his vision to see he would notice me standing there, until 8 seconds later then noticed me at the time where he was just about to swallow down his beer:p.
hahaha, he nearly choked on it and was struggling to swallow it down:p.
ahaha, I swear both of us couldn't stop grinning at each other.
and I had to stop myself from hugging him too much.

So I just finished most of my assignments, all thats left now is textile.
I swear i did not get what I was seeing.
Martha actually had to help me a lot.
and in return I help her with her sewing.
Hahaha, I actually had to hold myself back in order not to assassinate my marketing lecturer.
I mean he's nice and all, really.
But he just sucks as a lecturer, really:p.
I mean come on, even my other class mates that speaks fluent Indo doesn't get what he is talking about, can you imagine Martha, Nakita and I whoe does not?
he uses a lot of Indonesian slang as well which is a big pain in the ass.
So since I've got my marketing sorted, I'm not as stressed out.
but a new Fashion Design assignment is going to start tomorrow, crap.

OH i've also finish sewing my dress shirt which doesn't look bad at all:p.
best of all is that I made it:)!
though before I sewed on the collar it looked like a blazer which looks better.
ah well, I'm going to have to cut out holes for the button to go through, wash it & iron it all by Tuesday..which isn't so much work.

In case you were wondering, the print of the shirt is a whelk shell.

OH! The current American TV show I'm really into now is nip tuck:P.
frankly, it gets dramatic each episode.

Lets see.
for the past 2 weeks I've been really busy.
I'm working on making a dress shirt at my pattern drafting class.
and it actually looks really good with the whelk shell print I did!
Hahaha, a friend of mine dress shirt's print made it look like those Japanese mafia shirt.
I wanted to do floral prints at first but I thought "heh, maybe not" it'd make my shirt look like a grandma's shirt.
which I ended up being right:p, therefore I am grateful on listening to my instinct.
My Fashion Design assignment has been slowly draining the life out of me, literally.
assignments from FD always gets me pulling and all nighter.
even though the day to pass it up is still quite far but i find that i'm more relaxed if i finish it faster.
so in the end I end up coming to school in the morning feeling like a zombie most of the time.
Man, the stress is quite bad that one of my classmate dropped out.
well maybe cause she was quite left behind as well but still, I was surprised to find out she quit.
How do people just quit:s?
sure I'll grumble and whine, but quit?
HELL NO, quitting is not an option for me.
+ my mom would totally kick my ass.
wait, plus another 3 more ass kicking from my sisters.
but so far I'm doing alright.
I'm not the best in my classes, but I try to be.
Which is quite hard considering the top of the class right now is such a perfectionist :s.

but i did improve when it came to neatness of my work. It may sound easy to keep your work clean, not for me though. It's hard doing that with hands that sweat, and I mean REALLY sweat. therefore every time i work on my assignments I'd have to wear plastic gloves. specially for drawing, colouring, and gluing. Which is a big pain in the ass cause I like the feeling of paper when I draw and colour. Gluing however I don't mind, it makes my hands go all slippery.
You really don't want to know how it feels like for your hands to sweat like crazy, it's damn annoying. OH! another thing to state, I really wanna go back to KK for Chinese New Year.
I got my fingers crossed for this, even though I guess most of the people in KK would be gone by then:/.
But theres still other things I miss like my mom, my sister, my room and THE FOOD! If it wasn't for these pack lunch I keep bringing to school, I reckon I'd have diabetes.
Damn you Indonesian food, it's nice & all.. but in small doses.

Hey! so happy new year everyone:D!

my new year went great actually.
Spent it in a place that is to die for.
the place had a great view of the sea.

In the end, the fun doesn't last cause I had to go back to Jakarta.
I was sad:/, I had to leave all my friends behind including Richard:(.
I miss that bugger and my friends very much.
It broke me to leave kkay.
it sucks when classes for me starts early, which only makes my summer start only in July.
I don't get to see everyone who studies in Australia:(!
Now that I'm back in Jakarta, its back to lonely nights, oily food, hotter weather, polluted air, assignments, & Traffic jams.
On the other had I did looked forward to going back to uni, but didn't really looked forward to getting back to the assignments.
I didn't make any new year resolutions, cause first of all their crap, second of all I can't be bothered, and third of all even if I was.. I know I won't stick to them :p.
I do have a holiday coming up around February, but I'm not sure if I can go back cause I don't know if I could afford to, and second of all what if I have loads of assignments? and third of all, I don't know if I could bare going back to kkay for such a short time knowing that I have to leave again, it hurts alot:/.
+ i just check and tickets are like RM612:S.

Speaking of which, I'm literally swimming in a pool of assignments.

Ahhh Christmas, a time to share with your loved ones.

unfortunately mine are not here:p.
it's my first time celebrating Christmas without my mom and sisters.
ah well.
I did went for lunch with Jjay in Lintas though.
As usual I can't get enough of the pork crackling soup.
but I can't find that in Jakarta so spare me.
OH! I also went to trim my hair in Albert salon in central plaza where this man called Alex usually cuts my hair.
honestly, it's hard to find a reasonably good hair stylist.
I go to this man cause I believe he won't screw up my hair like one of his last student did that made my hair look like a damn ching chong hair:).
ANYWAY..
I also had dinner with Jjay and my dad in the house.
It was alright, Jjay cooked.
Ray and Ian also stopped by for a while before the dinner to see if i wanted to go out for dinner cause ray haven't eaten yet as well.
they left after an hour..
but I'll be seeing them again later once their done with whatever their doing at the moment.
right now I'm just enjoying the silence that is present in the office room,
while my dad is playing poker on facebook in the living room and I can hear the card dealing going on.
I didn't even know my dad had facebook:s?
and I also had no idea that he even knew how to use a laptop, I mean like since when?!
ah well, just thought I'd publish up a post today cause it's Christmas.

Home for the holidays

I'm baaaaaaack:).

I just got back to kk two days ago and I'm already enjoying myself here.
I went to waterfront as soon as I was done changing at home and I met up with some people there.
it was really nice to see some faces I knew for quite sometime again.
Haha, I couldn't stop smiling that night cause first of all I was finally home! second I got to see Richard and third I was surrounded by people who I care about:).

Haha, funny thing is now I think I'm going to be back to my old sleeping schedule considering I've been sleeping at times that involves 12 and after.
ah man, that wouldn't be too pleasant for me when I do get back to Jakarta.
one of things I'm savoring right now is the fact that kkay doesn't have much mosquitoes here where Jakarta is infested with them.
another thing is that I'm also enjoying the air here, where you can't smell any exhaust pipe smoke unless you walk by the road.
and thirdly, I like how I know where everything is.

Gad i miss kkay.
hahahaha, on the day I arrived i was thinking of going to that place where they serve my favorite pork crackling soup, instead by the time I arrived with Adam, Ian, Rich and Ray the damn place was closing! and in the end i ended up eating indo mee at BTC.
of all thing I thought I'd be eating that night after being back from Jakarta.

Am currently in Chitos chilling in shisha cafe with my niece and 3 of her friends.

it was kind of like an impromptu thing to do,
but I just felt like going out all of a sudden
and I don't really want to be stuck in the house for the whole day.
oh! and I also wanted to use the internet to do some research.
+ i found my ipod:)!
after 3 weeks.....
but yeah, i found it in my gym bag, which i checked but it turned out it was under this layer that keep the bag in shape or something like that:p.
I felt so relieved, after 3 weeks without music, I finally found my Ipod.
my life was empty without it.
but yeah the fact that I found my Ipod made my whole week.

ah crap, I have to work on my research now after procrastinating for 2 hours now.

Hey!

My weekend turned out to be pretty good,
didn't manage to go see Armin van buuren spin.
but ah well.. my weekend was a weekend well spent.
I watched zombieland! it was pretty funny actually and the bald dude in it was so hardcore in killing zombies.
OH! i also bought a new dress from Zara which is a little black dress,
and that is definitely money well spent!
I'm currently in love with it now, I'm thinking of wearing it when I go back to kkay, when the occasion calls for it that is.
I also visited forever 21, unfortunately the collection of this month is BAD:|,
i would've thought they would have a nice pair of sunglasses or two, but there was absolutely nothing.
Topshop however.. had really nice things which I was wide eyed over.
If only I could afford more things.
Heh, well I'm happy enough with one dress so I guess it's all good and enough to satisfy my needs for shopping for a few months until I saved enough money to go shopping again.
Which just gives me more reason to anticipate the months ahead.

My current situation however.. sucks.
I arrived to uni in a good mood,
but noooo
the damn internet connection just had to be so unbearably slow.
I'm trying to do my fashion design homework and requires lots of research on the internet.
But this internet connection is making me want to hit it in the face if it did actually have one.
So because of the really slow connection, thus I am here blogging:p.
I still haven't got my research printed yet, argh, the printing here is so damn expensive.
for a page that uses color cost about 2 ringgit and 50 cents, and a page of non colored printing cost about a ringgit each page.

obviously you can get it cheaper outside of uni, but I have no idea where :s.
I spend most of my money on printing and food, how crappy is that?
I'm going to have to find a nearby shop that does printing and charge lesser then the school.

It has been.. a while.
I would've been updating my blog except that I still don't have any internet connection at home yet.
so I guess I'd just have to deal with it until the house do have internet excess.

You know Christmas break is coming soon and all, I would have to worry about finishing my damn assignments and all which is a damn big pain in the ass.
and there is no way in hell I'm going to use my holiday for that so I'm going to have to struggle and get it over with before I go to kkay cause I don't have a sewing machine there and I only have 13 days to spend there so I want to spend it wisely.
Unfortunately i haven't got much done yet, probably will focus more on it this weekend cause right now I have Computer Aided Design Patter Drafting(CAD PD), which is also a ginormous big pain in the ass cause i don't really get it but at the same time i do:S?
ah whatever, thankfully we only have the class a few weeks a year.
so it's all good.
I'm also waiting for the time to past faster, and I guess the more I pay attention to the time and date the more it goes SLOWER.

Am currently in my uni's library waiting for my 1pm life drawing class to start.
Oh and I'd be meeting up with some classmates to mix colours for one of our fashion design assignments.
GAH, i swear mixing paint to get the color you want is frustrating! specially when you have to follow your lecturer's sample as much as possible.
I'm basically being showered by assignments.
I have:

*4 pages of observation drawings
*mood boards to do
* research on the "ideal woman's body" starting from the 1400
* figurine construction and poses
* making colours

& these are basically only from my FD class.
Lucky for me i managed to complete the others for my other classes without going over the deadline.
I also got my own room now:).
the bad thing is that i don't have a mirror, and i can't live without one.
I practically walked out the house looking like i'm half dressed.
i had a navy blue V-neck long sleeved shirt with a matching gold studded belt to go with it, little did i know the comfy shorts i used looked like boxers:S.
but eh, they were comfy.
I NEED TO GET A MIRROR.
Oh it sucks that I'll only get wireless after a month cause the house hasn't got a land line yet.
doesn't matter for now, I reckon I've been real busy since last Friday when i got back fro kkay on Thursday till now. and i don't get the weekends to relax cause of these damn assignments that is due next Thursday.
I'm actually suppose to be in the midst doing my figurine drawing right now:p.
but, procrastination is one of my biggest weakness.
I WILL get to it, just not now.
I've already done my assignment for fashion culture yesterday night that involves designing a couture dress or ready to wear clothes that is inspired by the Egyptian times.
I must say it looks shitty.
I also notice that each sewing machine has different personalities even if they are all the same model. some goes really fast and some goes at a normal speed. The sewing machines in my pattern drafting class are crazy though:s, except for 1 or 2 of them.
hahaha, my first experience with the sewing machine was funny. we tried it on papers first, and instead of making a straight lines of hole, the machine basically went A.W.O.L :p.
but I'm getting better:p.
I know how to make seams for jeans now (even if it took me two failed fabrics)!
and shirts too:).
I'm on the road to success, well at least I hope:p.

Hello:D!

Internet connection, FINALLY!
I swear I had no internet connection in the place I live in Jakarta, well at least for now.
the reason is cause it'll only be installed once we moved into the new house but at the moment we're living in a rented one.
Anyway, I started Uni in Esmod.
I'm still trying to get use to the fact that I'm already a uni student and no longer a highschool one.
I feel like I'm growing up too fast, wish I could slow things down more =\.
I'd say the difficulty level for fashion designing is alright, FOR NOW.
I don't really want to push my luck so yeah.
Its no surprise that the majority of students there are girls.
most of my male lecturers are also flamboyant, both my Marketing and Pattern Drafting lecturer.
They say my marketing lecturer is already married but eh, maybe he's just that way.
Not my life drawing lecturer though, he has this artistic rugged type look.
as for my fashion design lecturer, shes nice and all but theres something about her that makes her feel unapproachable.

I recently left for Jakarta on the 25th of August.

But I'm back now for raya and also for visa purposes.

Things been pretty good lately since I got back at tuesday night.

Went out with ray and bryan last night, I had a good good night with 2 of them :D.

Met up with ray and Bryan outside my house.

I was talking to bryan on the open boot of ray's new black ford ranger pick up truck, while ray was talking on the phone for a very LONG time, but it's all good.

Instead of going to upperstar, the three of us decided to go to Texas Bar & grill.

which turned out to be really nice cause it's not crowded like Upperstar.. I won't say its a place were your least likely to not bump into anyone cause I did that night :S.

Had two glasses of cocktails that tasted strong :|, the guys had their usual, beer.

and then later we shared two rounds of flaming lamborghini.

which by then I could already feel my heartbeat on my face and had gone completely red.

I swear, the downfall of this problem is that I can never sneak a shot without people noticing afterwards :p.

later we collected what was left of Ray's vodka from Aizad, and later went to my house to chill and just drink.

Ah well, didn't really got the chance to finish the vodka cause we couldn't care less anymore since were all pretty tired.

Oh! but we got hungry and we decided to have supper in BTC.

I had no idea BTC has wireless internet connection!

Yes yes I know, I'm very outdated cause they had wireless about a year ago :p.. tsk tsk.

I also got the chance to skype rich, cause it's hard to stay in contact with him there considering I didn't have internet and an Indo number while I was there but it's all gooooood in the hoooooooood now.

So yesterday night was decent, well.. kind of?
went out with Carol Jim [cousin] to upperstar in downtown.
which i will say that woman is such an alcoholic, and what an evil mind she has!
Hahahaha.
Rich, Hamish and Yazid came to join us.
Carol's friend Lydia was suppose to join us but ended up being in Shenanigans instead, tsk tsk tsk.
but anyway, Rich & carol were on a roll when it came to drinking.
they bought about two sets of beer I think?
and finished off with each having a shot of vodka, which carol try to persuade me to have one as well and which I continuously refused:p.
sorry but alcohol and me just don't get along well, at least most of the time.
sides, when I normally do drink I get real lazy sometimes and all i want to do is crawl into my bed.
That is why i like drinking at home:]!

& what is this about some people saying that I have this look on my face?
I occasionally get comments from people saying I have a really bored facial expression, or I have this look saying "oh my gad, what the f**k am I doing here" kind of look :s.
I can't help it, everyone said that I look bored when i eat as well, but truth is I'm actually in deep concentration with my food. + I don't like being bothered when I'm eating, specially when someone tells you to fetch them something from who knows where while half way eating, Its very irritating really.
so don't get me wrong, I'm actually feeling pretty content even though i have "that look" on my face:).

well, after Rich, Hamish & Yazid left upperstar, Carol & I went to shenanigans to meet up with her friends, Aunt Salome, Lydia, Aunt Mae and all.
I bumped into patrick which I greeted him politely and it turns out he was hanging out with two of his other guy friends.
left after that to check out cocoon which was dead like a corpse, yes It was literally dead!
Anyway, we decided to go to Barsu instead, but on the way there we met two danish girls who were tourists obviously. Rebecca & Christina.
Such nice girls actually:].
Carol and the others were pretty much drunk till they have a hard time walking staright, ahaha.
& as I being the youngest and most sober one in the group felt like the adult instead while the others were like teenagers drunk from booze:P, tsk tsk tsk.
met joseph as well, which i really didn't expect to bumb into but did anyway gave Carol & I a ride to Barsu along with Rebecca & Christina.
I was pretty worried, cause lately Barsu was getting raided quite a lot :s.
but anyway Carol looked at me as if i was insane when I told her all i want to have is coke.

I didn't really feel like partying that night actually:\, I guess I was feeling pretty tired.
I got hit on an older white man who ended up giving me his business card(10 to 12 years older), which was f'ed up and gross.

I've noticed I'm always on and off when it comes to updating my blog :s.
& I'm sorry about that, really.
Normally I'll be just too tired to update it after coming back from hanging out with my friends and it would be around 2 in the morning or so.
either that or i'm just too lazy to go down to the office to update.

Anyway,
My cousin just got married yesterday in the sacred heart church, which i didn't get to attend cause i was just basically too busy sleeping like a rock in my room after another one of those late nights.
But I did manage to go to the after dinner party in Beverly Hills Hotel.
I guess it was alright, all I know is I would be really bored if it wasn't for my cousins.
& it was COLD! cause our table was placed right under the aircond.
I didn't really recognize my cousin who got married that day when I saw her in the dinner party, she looked beautiful.
Hahahaha, and the WHOLE night all i have been getting from my other cousins and aunts are "Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!, Kimmy! KAU BUJANG SUDAH!"
well, most probably its cause the last time I saw most of my cousins and aunts in that dinner party was when I was much younger.
still, it gets a little old after hearing that sentence after several consecutive times.

After the dinner party, i was suppose to go to First beach to join rich yazid sarah them all.
But I didn't want to show up like this specially the area where there is a lot of stalls.
so I decided to skip that and headed to the loft instead with my cousins in waterfront.
It was okay I guess, ordered myself a cosmo while Mazlan ordered himself a coke cause he had enough red wine to drink at the party before.. and there was group of 3 guys who were really annoying and kept comparing Kkay to denmark, saying the girls there are more open.
well kkay isin't Denmark okay? psh.
well the two wasn't as bad, but theres just one prick who kept on harassing all the girls. which he eventually got told of by nick and ended up sulking in a corner like a little boy. serves him right.

Hey hey heyyy:].

Went out to Chitos and had some shisha in the shisha cafe, was suppose to meet in PIM with two other of my nieces's friends but decided to just hang out in Chitos with another group of friends of hers.

their all very nice people:].

and I swear the lamb shwarma I had in the shisha cafe was sooooo good.

yes rich, better then the chicken shwarma in Al Baraka(is that how you spell it =S?)

probably its cause I was hungry, but thats not it..it really was good.

anyway, Jakarta shisha is much much better then KK's and KL's, much..smoother.

for those who haven't try it in jakarta yet, you should.

IN CHITOS, the place is called the shisha cafe.
I know i said KL's shisha was good, but there was still a little rough edge to it when you smoke it, just a little.
whereas Jakarta's shisha gives you a smooth feeling like as if your smoking nothing at all and still make you go dizzy? shmeh:p.
anyway..

went to watch terminator in cinema 21 again for the second time.

but I reckon the movie terminator is one of the movies you can watch more then once.

after that off to Kemang we go, to this place called splash.

and alcohol here is cheap which explains why I saw a few of puddles of vomit.

but anyway, when I entered splash..

I never felt so out of place:p.

everywhere I turned I see Caucasians.. girls & guys.

like its the first time in my life I saw a lot of Caucasians gather all in one place in an asian country.

& splash was basically crawling with Caucasians.

there are some Indos too, but mostly Caucasians.

we decided to hang out in little Baghdad which was less crowded and they had shisha too which my niece's ordered..again and was also just across the road facing splash.

I had a really nice chat with rich and basically telling him what I saw tonight.

all in all, the night wasn't exactly really fun cause we had to go home early and everyone was busy studying for their upcoming exam on Monday, but it was actually fun in a "wow, saw something new today fun"

went back around 11:11p.m, cause we have to be home by twelve since my niece isin't aloud to be out till after 12.

+ she has her exams this coming monday and her last paper is on friday.

so after that probably we'll be out more late cause her little sister, mom & dad will all be out on a camping trip for 3 days and two nights so we have the house to ourselves=D!

so I'm really looking forward to seeing clubs in Jakarta.

so normally I don't really bother to update until now cause I just feel that I need to.
but anyway i have have been in Jakarta for a week and a day now.
met up with the agent who will be helping me make my visa permit to study here, what else..
oh and I also bought a pencil skirt, FINALLY.
cause it is basically impossible to find a pencil skirt in KK, IMPOSSIBLE!
oh and I also bought this kind of beanie thingo which is also impossible to find in kk.
next thing I would like to buy is a checkered shirt in the same shop I bought my pencil skirt which I am going to this Friday along with my niece Natalie in a mall called Pondok Indah mall(PIM). not sure which one tho cause they have it in different colors.
you can find it in KK, but the material they used are bad and there will always be something wrong with it whether its the color or the position of the pockets and whatsoever.
Oh yeah, school! school school school..
decided I would take the one year course in ESMOD and then see how it goes.
I guess everyone would like to see if I would actually be able to take it or not.
ah whatever, if they think I can handle it then I'll just continue until I complete the course.

Hi, happy Monday to all:D.

well except for the people who hate their jobs or school then I guess things isin't so happy for you guys.
ANYWAY.
So after my usual early morning run yesterday.. Later that evening
I had plans to go to the beach with Daniel, Ashley and Johnson at around 3. Oh! and with Daniel's usual companion to the beach Matt and my dog as well Chivas or other than that known as Chichi.

The weather wasn't as good as the last time we went but oh well.

it was drizzling on our way there but the clouds seemed to be blowing inland so it wasn't raining when we got there. Oh and just to let you know, we went to Rasa Ria's beach and not the crap beach in 1st beach Tanjung Aru that has lots of garbage in the area.
long drive for just a beach, but its worth it cause the sand there is white and its really socluded cause I guess not much people bother to drive down there.
OH! and its CLEAN!

When Daniel was getting my dog cause she wouldn't stay put and I couldn't be bothered to get up from the mat, hehehe.

but their basically in their own world too, so you get the point.

lets just say it had no limits in describing things, hahahaha.
Went swimming with Dan and Matt, whereas the other 2 was too distracted with other things.
my dog is afraid of the sea and she dosen't like getting sea water and wet sand on her fur.
she did enjoy running around with Johnson tho:].
By the end of the day it was pretty tiring and I was actually falling asleep in the passenger seat of Dan's car which I continuously kept warning him to not take a photo of me if I do happen to fall asleep with my mouth wide open like he told Steph to the last time.

made a stop at Warisan cause I desperately needed to buy my facial cleanser.
and I had to stop by 7 eleven to get reload as well for my maid.
By the time I reach home, I swear I just wanted to crash onto my bed cause it was that bad till I didn't even have the mood to eat dinner, but then again it would be nasty cause I hadn't taken my shower yet:p.
after showering, crashing on my bed was pure bliss. which I ended up texting rich for a while and after 4 messages and 3 replies later I ended up falling asleep at around 10 something:p.
sorry rich, hehehe.
But then again I happen to wake up at 2 in the morning cause rich called me wondering what happened to me:p, and also that my stinking aircond was too warm. for once after quite some time It was actually really good to sleep early:D.

I've been waking up before 6 every morning to go running starting from Tuesday morning.
I know I've said that I continued running again before my trip to KL but I had to to stop:\.
+ the weather was really bad whenever it came to evening time.
and so I decided since KK normally starts pouring around evening might as well go for early morning jogs:]!
& lucky me cause it was raining heavily at around 3p.m something or so? so the weather is a little gloomy.
I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate waking up in the morning tho, and my laziness just sometimes gets to me and I would be stuck in a dilemma on should I actually continue sleeping in and just push my running schedule to an evening run later? or should I just get up NOW and stop being a lazy bum bum.
as awesome as it would be for me if I picked the first choice but so far I've ended up doing the latter.
I just find that my conscience will start to taunt me when I get lazy.
and basically making going back to sleep practically impossible.
so I'm force to suck it up and go.

But I found my usual run this morning not as bad compared to the days before.
On wednesday I thought I was going to actually pass out.
cause you know those white spots you see before going out cold.
I SAW THEM:|.
one of the reason why is cause I felt this really sharp pain just below my rib cage.
It's like something was basically drilling into my lungs and no it was not a stich, therefore I couldn't breathe properly.
but after trying breathing exercises and A LOT of positive thoughts I actually manage to finish the long strech in tanjung aru beach:).

I feel so bummed out now, really bummed.
I just got a call from my cousin Pam from Jakarta saying my mom thought ESMOD is okay and that she have decided to send me off to study there.
the thing is after when she comes back tomorrow, I have to plan my trip to jakarta, WITHIN THIS MONTH!
and rich is coming back next Friday:(!
its cause I have to take a test, drawing and my knowledge about fashion to see what do they need to help me on when I study there.
But I want to stay till rich comes back then I'll go off, but the sooner I leave, the sooner I get to come home:\.
but we'll see, I would have to discuss it with my mom tomorrow night when she gets back.
i would be taking the international course, the one for 3 years.
well at least thats what they told me :s.

kkay has been pretty lifeless to me since I got back from KL on the 21st of April.
don't get me wrong, I love kkay..
but sometimes I just wish there are more things to do here and also, more friends.
all I've been doing these past days is waking up at 11 in the morning or 12 in the afternoon, watching movies and reading.
so far I've read about two books & currently reading my 3rd one now.
how exciting right?
I'm also working on getting some movies from my sister's house but whenever I do her golden boy is there. which I am force to face a really awkward vibe whenever I'm around him:S.
maybe its just me, but to be frank I just don't really feel as comfortable around him then I am with other family members.
I did found some things to do whenever I have nothing to do at home tho:), like yesterday.
which I kind of rearranged some stuff in room and cleaned up whatever was under my bed and organized my clothing in my cupboard by colour coordination:p.
Yes I like my some stuff organized thank you very much.
I also put away most of my stuff from high school like medals, uniforms, books and whatever that had to do with school. I really didn't think it has much use for me anymore considering I'm not in high school anymore.I don't really know what to do with my school books tho, so i guess I'm just going to recycle them.
Mom's just left for Jakarta yesterday, and I really do hope she has a good time there:).
the house just seems to be more quiet without her:\.
besides her purpose of having her vacation there shes also suppose to help me check out my a school called ESMOD for me.
Funny thing is I was suppose to leave for Jakarta in March, but look at me I'm still in kkay and its May now, Arghhh. If my mom likes the school then that is where I come in, as soon as she gets back I have to go to Jakarta to register and get my visa done and all that.. well hopefully it's going to happen THIS time.
One of my cousin has also arrived from KL yesterday, shes out now. so the only people in the house is Jjay & I.
I wish i can just call someone up without thinking are they here or not.

he probably is still asleep now anyway, well most likely.
I miss Arab food ALOT! i don't know why, but i think its the fact that most of their dishes just involves alot of meat:p.

KL so far has been fun.
Why?
Because I met some pretty cool people.
I get to hang out with rich more often.
and theres a lot to see here that you don't see much of back home.
Oh, and I also get to see vincent, jude and adam more:D!
since everyone lives in cyberia.
so it only takes about five to six minutes to go to each other's houses.

Anyway.
I meant to update earlier on..
but the smart thing I did is that I brought my camera and its charger, but I didn't bring its usb wire thingo.SMARRRRRT.

this was around last friday which was the 3rd.
A group of us went to just chill in sunway.
OH! and the shisha I tried in this mamak near sunway was good:p.
the flavour was grape mint.
its cause it didn't give you this rough feeling behind your throat when you blow it out.
the best thing I love about shisha is that it makes you happy:p.
but I can only take it in small dosses cause if I over take it I think I would puke.
And I notice whenever we eat out, people don't actually bring you the bill but you have to go to the counter and pay.. great more work.

Heyyyyy.

So I've been running a lot this week!
every day around evening,
where I usually jog the whole stretch from Tanjung Aru Beach Hotel to the airport (terminal 2)
I've been feeling pretty healthy actually because I seldom stuff myself with junk food and just normally stick to healthier food.

but I do kind of find it a little depressing sometimes, well old habits die hard.
But ah well, I started this week eating cereal for breakfast, tea and biscuits for lunch and salad or whatever is on the dinner table which is veggie for dinner.
I'm planning on going vegetarian twice a week.
Not everyday cause that just sounds crazy.
I just feel maybe it will be better for myself.
BESIDES, its about time I get fit again because I got very tired of sitting in the house everyday watching TV with a plate of rice in front of me.

So I realized I needed a change and start running like I use to again.
It's not like I've got anything better to do at home..
and besides I have a running partner might as well take the advantage to exercise.
I get to fit into my clothes better and I'll also will feel better.

But I do still have sleeping problems, no matter how much I run.
I still cant sleep at night even if my body is tired.
nevertheless, my brain still feels like how a heart feels like after eating ecstasy.
Normally the time i usually fall asleep is at 2 or 3 when the time I really want to sleep is around 11 or 12.
I practically woke up this morning around 12 feeling like a bag of poo because my head hurt and whenever the right side of my eye blink or move from left to right my head feels like a hammer is knocking against it.
so I slept till four and my head felt much better with the the pain gone.

I really need to change my sleeping ways.
or else there will be more headaches to come, which I really don't want to go through all over again.

Oh and I had a really twisted dream involving a cat that can talk that has a cancer growth on it's neck when I was sleeping today=p.
wtf.

I'm baaaaaaack.
been wanting to write a new post since the 26th of December.
but I've been caught up with so many things till now.
ah well, looks like I finally found the time to update my blog..
which I will continue to do so once again like before.

A lot of things have been happening actually.
A LOT!
been so busy with outings and chores,
since I currently don't have a maid right now so I have to do my own laundry and cleaning.
so basically my day always ends up really tiring..
hence, I'm too exhausted to update.

Fortunately I took a little cat nap today on my sofa after doing my laundry for almost half of the day and so here I am.
well lets see..
I was over at rumba on Friday which ended up as an awesome night.
best part is our gang didn't need any alcohol to actually have fun.
so we all went back sober that night with no worries of getting a hang over the next day.

Went to salim mamak shop later on with Ian and Bryan to have supper and to meet up with my cousin Adryz and his girlfriend Melissa Wong and her sister Vanessa along with their friends.
which I ended up bumping into my brother there and his friends.
got my usual roti kosong and teh C ice.

So I went out around evening time yesterday with Adryz & Ian.

WENT TO EAT BAK KU TEH!
ahahaha,its obvious that all three of us has been dying to have it.
cause if you were there you could see us devouring the bowls of rice and the bak ku teh itself:p.

then we went to 1 borneo cause I had to get a concealer and liquid eyeliner in Sasa.
Adryz & I and hopefully Ian are planning to get jobs rather than just sitting around adryz's with our fat asses on the couch while eating and watching teevee.
but we're not really sure where yet:P,
but since we have the time might as well do something productive right?
so after I got my stuff we were walking around 1 Borneo and we saw a cool lamp.
I don't have a photo of it cause I don't think man would've let me take a photo of it.
but anyway its like a giant light bulb with a small round magnet on top

we wanted to go watch a movie after that but we stumbled upon an arcade.

I meant to update my blog sooner but I have just been caught up with so many things!
and I just recovered from a food poisoning which I thought I had a fever.
but it turns out its caused by the food poisoning itself.
all i know is,
that it really wasn't pretty AT ALL:|.

anyhoo, life after SPM has been great!
I had a gathering with a couple of friends on thursday(4.12.08)
which was right after the day that SPM ended.
ahahahaha,I had loads of fun.
i didn't drink much tho..
cause I kind of had this phobia of alcohol from the last time I drank..
which was during the mecure opening in 1 Borneo.

so from then on I have decided to stay away from those things for a while.

FINALLY!
SPM is officially over for me.

I never felt so free,
I mean like the feeling of not touching my books when I got home today was so weird.
a good kind of weird.

not only the feeling of not touching my books.. but to never ever think about my form 4 & 5 syllabus again.
even though I start my holiday a little later than usual, its actually nice to know that I don't have to worry about buying books for next year.

Right after the last paper of my exam(Commerce) I changed into my regular outing clothes.. cause after wearing MN's uniform for 5 whole years..
the last thing I want to be seen in is the uniform itself.
Got picked up by Adryz right after I reached home

its cause built in cabinets just got done being installed to my office at home.
soo i didn't really get to go online that much.

but anyway,school has been a drag.

well,part of the reason why i haven't done anything yet is cause

A few weeks ago my good friend was talking about this actor called Gaspard Ulliel.
he's a hot Frenchman who was suppose to act in the upcoming movie called"Twilight"
Unfortunatly they decided to go with an actor called Robert Pattinson.

congrats to the form 1,2,3 and 4's =D
you guys can finally start your fabulous holiday.
while WE form 5's get stuck in school for another MONTH or so.
wow i really love my life,jeeeez.

the statement saying"i won't be coming back to school next year" kept replaying in my mind.
it saddens me to hear it but yet it gives me something to anticipate .
I have a feeling that this year's end of the year holiday is going to kick asssssssss!

Graduation is on the 7th of November,which is pretty close actually.
its just 21 days away starting from tomorrow.

for those of you guys who didn't know about the borneo internatinal marathon.
it was amazing.
you get to see local people and foreigners running in the marathon.
ahahaha,you get to see pretty crazy stuff there..

This woman right here managed to collect a total of RM5k
for the needs of cancer patients and the sun bears.
so that the bears can have a proper home,and the cancer patient's needs can be fulfilled.
she ran for the half marathon which she did a great job=).

these guys are amazing
they are the winners for the full marathon.
the one in white got 1st,the one in red got 2nd, and the one in blue got 3rd
in total,they had to run for 42 km.
holy crap..

All and all, everything went well actually,adidas was there, so was the owner of AirAsia Airlines.

been having exams actually,MOCK II.

and a little friend of mine was tipsy as well!
so was jjay-.-..that jackass almost crash the car..but we didn't.

ah well,i didn't even remember getting picked up by cass and getting into her car.

but i did remember the toilet bowl tho.

I'm writing about it for this website regarding about this spectacular event. seriously,since when did kkay ever have their very own marathon besides sutra's marathon run?
i'll be there around 5:00 a.m.
WONDERFUL.

My sister thought she would be running for the 10Km event
looks like she just found out today she'll be running for the half marathon which is 21 km:P.
poor poor woman,good luck.
BAHAHA.

Had dinner with Jjay, Cass, Victor, Hafiz & Tessa at the balcony of our house. Jjayy was a the chef of tonight.. Menu was fish fillet marinated in fresh squeezed orange juice, salt and rosemerry side by potatoes and gravy and also cherry tomatoes with pesto topping. there is a few things to improve.. but overall everything is okay. damn it, i didn't get to go to the gym today cause Jjay didn't tell me he was going.. asshole. ah well,hopefully I'll get to go tomorrow.
cause i hate quiting when i'm in the middle of doing something,it gets frustrating.

ahhh, Its holidays like this that makes me miss Tina:\.
usually around this hour I'll still be chilling in her house watching movies,Korean soaps,eating instant noodles.
I didn't really get to say a proper good bye to her:(.
its my fault really.
